Sr. Software Engineer at Xiaomi

Ex-Cognitive Computing and Open Platform Manager at Turing Robot

- Chen Wei received her B.S. Degree from the School of Electronics Information Engineering of Beijing Jiao Tong University (China P.R.C.) in 2009 and majored in telecommunication. In 2012 she received her M.S. Degree from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Macau (Macau S.A.R.). She specialized in e-commerce technology, Faculty of Science and Technology. She has published 6 conference papers, 1 ISF journal and contributed to 1 Springer book chapter. She also published a book named "Multi-Collaborative Filtering Trust Network For Online Recommendation", which is currently sold on Amazon.

-In 2008, she was selected as the U.S. Government Visiting Scholar to participate in the Study of U.S. Institute for Undergraduate Student Leaders(S.U.S.I) program, and she was the only candidate with a technical background. Chen did a global technical traineeship in Porto Alegre (Brazil) in 2010. And in 2011, she was invited to visit the University of Coimbra (Portugal) as a research assistant working in the area of Named-Entity Recognition.

-She joined Xiaomi recently as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to joining Xiaomi, she was the leader of the Cognitive Computing Team at Turing Robot. She has also worked on Defence Science Organization (DSO) project in SG previously. Her current interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Recommendation Systems, and Product Management. "
