Founded in 2015, Tsinghua SEM X-elerator is a startup acceleration platform for global entrepreneurs and start-ups, which is affiliated with Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. Revolving around the entrepreneurial ecosystem, we are composed of a 3-in-1 model of “Co-working Spaces, Mentorship, and Investment.” Tsinghua SEM X-elerator brings together elite global entrepreneurs and empowers them with entrepreneurship acceleration “from 1 to N.”

With headquarters in Beijing’s Tech Center Z-Park, a second location in Shenzhen, X-elerator is able to reach entrepreneurial minds far beyond Tsinghua’s campus. We provide select entrepreneurs a free co-working space in the first 3 months, along with a number of services, such as policy, marketing, and business model consulting, an intensive mentorship program, and community events. For mentors, we have professors from Tsinghua and experts from relevant industries. Our partnerships with established companies help our start-up teams with technology development, which help our start-ups with prototyping and material safety testing. We connect our entrepreneurs with active investors through office hours and demo days. In the past 3 years, we have accelerated more than 300 startups from 12 batches, which have raised over 100 million dollars so far.
